12. Rare Books Room

Since its inauguration in 1960, the library has preserved a valuable collection of works, including editions published as early as the 18th century. The collection stands out not only for its thematic and historical diversity, but also for featuring books signed by renowned authors such as José Saramago, Darcy Ribeiro, and Ferreira Gullar, among others.

13. Mrs. Theolina Junqueira’s Bedroom

These three rooms were of great importance to Mrs. Sinhá Junqueira. Her bedroom was the largest in the house, and the breakfast room was located next to it. The dressing room followed an intimate and elegant space traditionally reserved for the lady of the house to get ready, store perfumes and jewelry, and apply makeup. This room reflects the taste and social status of the period.

16. Bedroom Call Button

Located in the bedrooms, this button was used to ring the bell of the butler, installed on the lower floor, in order to summon the household staff.
